Project Manager

RJD is looking for individuals who have broad Project Management or related experience particularly in a MOD environment.  Candidates will require a reasonable technical understanding and have had experience of delivering equipment based projects in secure environments.  Experience might include some or all of the following skills:

• Previous experience of Project Managing a Defence based project
• PRINCE2/APM Practitioner
• Knowledge and experience of working within an MOD equipment based Project
• Understanding of the MOD procurement structure
• Understanding of MoD requirements for Business Cases
• Understanding of the DE&S CADMID cycle and Smart Acquisition processes
• Understanding of MOD’s Defence Lines of Development
• Experience of Through Life Management and Earned Value Management
• Security skills (policy, accreditation, risk, architecture, processes and technology)
• Broad knowledge of Architecture frameworks methods, tools and techniques
• Proposal writing experience
• Competent MS Office skills, able to produce well presented reports
• Excellent communication skills (written and oral)
